Apple Crumble

Ingredients
- 6 large apples peeled and cored
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 of a lemon (juice)
- 1 1/2 cup of gluten-free flour
- 1/2 cup quick oats
- 1/2 cup butter cut in small pieces (or 1/2 cup vegan 'butter' in small pieces
- 3 tablespoons cinnamon
Directions
- Step 1 Grease a 9″ x 13″ pan and preheat the oven to 350 °F.
- Step 2 In a large bowl place the peeled, cored and sliced apple pieces with 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 tablespoon of cinnamon and 1/4 cup of flour and lemon juice. Mix thoroughly.
- Step 3 In a medium bowl place the rest of the flour, sugar, oats, butter, and cinnamon.
- Step 4 Mix until they have formed small pieces of crumble.
- Step 5 Place the apple mixture spread out in the 9″ x 13″ pan.
- Step 6 Take the crumble and spread out as a topping over all of the apple mixture.
- Step 7 Bake in an oven at 350 °F for 40 minutes.
- Step 8 Let sit for 10 minutes and serve. You can add whipped cream or coconut cream (for vegan option).
