Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Makes about 10 pancakes
Directions
  • Step 1 Blend the flour, baking powder, sugar and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.
  • Step 2 Next, add the egg and the milk and mix the ingredients thoroughly. If it is a bit thick a small additional amount of milk or water.
  • Step 3 Scoop 1/4 to 1/2 cup of batter onto a pancake griddle.
  • Step 4 Cook on medium heat.
  • Step 5 When you observe bubbles appear in the batter and open, it is time to flip over.
  • Step 6 **Note you can add banana, apple or strawberry slices to the poured batter.
  • Step 7 **Top these light, thick and fluffy pancakes with butter, syrup, whipped cream or any favorite topping!
