Guacamole

Ingredients
- 1 avocado
- Half of a small onion (I use red)
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon
- Salt and pepper
- Half of a small tomato (if desired)
Directions
- Step 1 First, with a knife cut around the oval shape of the avocado.
- Step 2 Hold each half with both hands and twist the opposite ways. The avocado should open up nicely and show its beautiful pit. With a knife score the avocado in strips and scoop out with a spoon into the bowl.
- Step 3 For the half with the pit, hit the knife blade into the pit and apply pressure sideways and the pit should come right out, attached to the blade.
- Step 4 Then just use the edge of the cutting board or sink to pressure it off the knife. If it does not come out with knife, just use a spoon to get it out and clean off remaining avocado and place into the bowl.
- Step 5 Next dice onion into small pieces and place into the bowl.
- Step 6 Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Step 7 Squeeze in fresh lemon.
- Step 8 Using a fork, mash into smaller pieces and mix in.
