Ingredients
  • 1 small glass jar with lid
  • Vodka (same amount that can be held in jar)
  • Vanilla beans (1 bean per ounce of vodka — we used grade b Madagascar)
  • Made by one of my daughters and found on beanilla.com
Directions
  • Step 1 Take each vanilla bean, one at a time, and slice lengthwise opening the bean (there are tiny seeds inside).
  • Step 2 Place these beans in the bottle.
  • Step 3 Pour the vodka into the bottle and make sure the vodka covers the whole vanilla beans.
  • Step 4 Close the lid and shake the container once a week.
  • Step 5 This will be ready to use in 6 to 8 weeks!
